To make Korean sentences more descriptive and natural, we can add time, place, and reason expressions. These act like adverbials in English and answer:

• 언제 When? → Time
• 어디서 Where? → Place
• 왜 Why? → Reason

🟢 2. Time Expressions (When)

✅ Patterns

1. Noun + 에 → time point
2. Time adverbs
3. Clause + 때 → when something happens

✅ Examples

• 아침에 운동했어요. = I exercised in the morning.
• 어제 친구를 만났어요. = I met a friend yesterday.
• 밥을 먹을 때 TV를 봐요. = I watch TV when I eat.

✅ Notes

• Use -에 with specific time points like "3시에", "주말에"
• Use -때 to express a time period within which an action happens

1. Location + 에서 → where an action takes place
